REVIT M&E Technician

We are a nationwide mechanical and electrical design and installation contractor looking for a REVIT M&E Technician to join our team to focus on creating and revising 3D drawings on REVIT and assisting the current CAD technician for 2D drawings on AutoCAD.

The successful REVIT M&E Technician will play a key role in the established design team. You will liaise with the current M&E design team to ensure that all drawings and setups are met in order to create new tender design drawings, construction drawings, as fitted drawings.

PURPOSE OF THE POST

Excellent experience with AUTOCAD & REVIT applications. Working closely with Mechanical and Electrical designers to produce Design, Installation & Final construction drawings / REVIT Models. Accurate preparation of drawings and models in CAD and REVIT to tight timescales. Knowledge of M&E / Construction equipment and practices. Proficient IT skills. Excellent communication skills. Flexible and enthusiastic attitude in team office environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Creating and revising accurate 3D drawings on REVIT. Working closely with the current M&E design team to produce design, construction and as fitted drawing on REVIT and the design software. Liaising closely with client architects to integrate M&E REVIT design into the architectural BIM model.
